Download the MT4 App for Mac by clicking here. The app runs on Big Sur which is not compatible with Catalina or previous versions.
After the app is downloaded, a message will be prompted to install the software in your system by dragging the download file to the Applications folder. Input any admin passwords or information requested to be able to move the folder to proceed with the installation.
Now, you will be prompted to confirm if you wish to open the MetaTrader App.
Click Open.
After the Wine Gecko Installer is downloaded and enabled, the MetaTrader terminal will load in the app, and you will be asked to log in to a live trading server by clicking the green + sign.
Your next step is to type Hive Markets in the search bar and click enter to add our server to your MetaTrader terminal.
You may also enter our server address: HiveTech-Live.
Now, you would need to enter the credentials of your Live MetaTrader Account that have been sent to you via e-mail upon creating your Live Account.
Once done, click Finish.
Allow a few moments for the platform to load its settings. If all is done correctly, your account is set and ready to trade.
